Drum set idea?
I”m going to start building my drum set very soon hopefully. And here is the idea of what I’m going to build:
Burgundy satin stain w/full tube lugs. All chrome hardware. Yamaha style wood hoops.
24x15 kick drum
15x15 rack tom (Floor tom technically, but I like using floor toms as rack toms)
18x16 floor tom
20x16 floor tom
I’m not planing on building a snare at the moment....
If I destroy my computer and television...
maybe then I’ll be content.

They used to be really badass things to get low to, but now they're so typical that it's annoying almost. Especially, like you said, bands that are 95% breakdowns such as both AA's.
